QUICK BIO

Steve Jones is a senior leader and strategist with expertise leveraged for some of the world's biggest brands. From an award-winning start in traditional media to leadership roles in communications and marketing, he’s always pursuing better ways to engage and influence audiences. He likes to write, read, learn and teach – all in pursuit of telling a story.

Currently, Steve is director of global integrated marketing at SVP Worldwide, parent company to Singer, Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking sewing brands.

Previously he was director of content and reputation management at SmileDirectClub. Before moving to Nashville, he spent five years in Atlanta with IHG, as senior manager of content and social for IHG and its loyalty program, IHG Rewards Club.

Steve's first role in social media was as director of social media for Michelin North America.

Previous to his time in Greenville, he marketed and promoted the City and County of Denver, which followed his first nine years in Atlanta, Ga., where he worked on external, internal and digital communications for Turner Broadcasting and internal communications for Delta Air Lines.

He began his career in the newspaper industry, winning The Dade County Sentinel its first four Georgia Press Association awards, for feature writing, newswriting, sportswriting and newspaper promotion.

Steve earned a bachelor of arts in journalism with minors in English and math from Auburn University.
